This artist book is a folded pocket accordion. Taking the theme of literature, books and words, I made the pocket accordion book with mulberry paper/Korean words. Inside are literature samples from Forbes Library in Northampton, MA. The samples on the different cards are in Latin, English, Spanish, Chinese, French, and Arabic script and the book titles are on the back of each card. The book lives in a sleeve made out of Japanese Paper. This artist book was in a show in Haydenville, MA. SIZE is 6” x 2.5”closed. Open it is 9” long.
