Wire mesh dipped in flax pulp signifies a book cage where memories are “held” or there are constraints to prevent expression or escape.

Each tea bag holds a scroll with a memory. The tag gives a clue or identifies what is inside. The owner of the book could sit and carefully remove a tea bag from the cup and read the scroll.

The teacup is covered with white Melook Thai Lace Paper and my own handmade blue paper.
