This unique hand-sewn journal displays shapes using a wet cyanotype technique. Cyanotype is a photographic printing process. The background is cyan blue color and the images are made using the sunlight. I used bark paper and dandelions to create the images. Windex was sprayed under the dandelions. The inside endpapers are hand-dyed indigo paper. This book is sewn in the coptic stitch binding with blue linen thread. This sewing style allows the journal to open completely flat. Inside are 144 blank white pages of Strathmore drawing paper. This makes a nice chunky journal.

SIZE is landscape 4” x 6.75”
