This hand-sewn book has wonderful Japanese paper on the covers. I bought it there a year ago on a wonderful trip to Japan. The rectangles look like Japanese screens or windows with some trees showing through. Green, red, blue, white, and golden brown colors are interspersed in the dark brown grid. The inside endpaper is also golden brown. The book is sewn in the coptic stitch with blue and red linen thread. This sewing style enables the book to open completely flat. 128 blank Strathmore drawing pages are inside. SIZE is 6.5” x 5”
