This hand sewn journal has special cyanotype (sun print) covers. A cyanotype print was used for the covers and then covered with Dorland’s Wax to protect the paper. The front cover was made with a paper that had holes allowing the blue to peek through. Back cover has some bleaching to add other colors. The book is sewn with blue linen thread in the coptic stitch. The sewing style allows the book to open completely flat. Inside endpapers are Canson blue and 112 blank pages of Strathmore drawing paper. SIZE is 6” x 3”.
